Dustin Lynch charged out of the gate this week when his new single, “Where It’s At,” earned airplay at a head-turning 79 first-week stations at Country Radio, making it the week’s Most-Added Song. The lead single from Lynch’s upcoming sophomore album on Broken Bow Records earned adds in key markets from coast-to-coast propelling the song to #50 on the Billboard Country Songs Chart and to #57 on the Country Aircheck/ USA Today Chart (powered by Mediabase).
The up-tempo summertime anthem celebrates the simple things in life: most importantly that “sweet little something late-night kiss” from a special someone. The song (written by Cary Barlowe, Zach Crowell and Matt Jenkins / produced by Mickey Jack Cones) goes on to proclaim that no matter how fancy or simple the surroundings, as long as you’re together then that’s “Where It’s At.”
“We all can get decked out, dressed up, go out to a fancy dinner and do all the sparkly things in life but we always end up heading back to the house. That’s where the true love is and happens,” says Lynch. There’s nothing more real than just being with somebody else. Having someone else in your life that makes good days better is unmatchable. Having the love of someone to come home to at night. . .that’s really ‘Where It’s At.’”
